About Me
I’m Rhenn Handel. Blah blah creativity blah blah programming. I like making stuff. Let me make stuff for you.
I’m a CS grad with a passion for game programming and design.
I like fractals, flounders and thumbnails that are blown up to be unrecognizable
I’m good with C, C++, C#, Python, SDL2(OpenGL), Godot, Unity, and a bit of Unreal. I can also make silly little images and maps.
Let’s make something together.

Who the Heck am I?
I’m some dude living in the States that wants to make a game
Currently based in Florida (it’s too hot here get me out), I’m a jerk with a bachelor’s in computer science and an obsession with C-based languages. While my expertise lies in programming, I’m versed in design philosophies and writing as well.
I have a passion for tearing into the meat and potatoes of design to understand what makes everything tick, and I’m obsessed with building worlds and characters to fill them. I believe that story and game design should be inextricably coupled, and must be approached in tandem.
While I’ve always been interested in games, I first realized my passion for design and game structure when I played the experimental indie MMO Neverdaunt:8Bit back in 2009. The game, which unfortunately is no longer up, featured a novel visual programming language that really caught my interest and managed to teach me core programming concepts without my even realizing it. I hold that learning experience at the center of my design philosophy, and endeavor to make games that are able to communicate complex ideas, but are widely digestible.
In my spare time I like to world build, draw maps, and write bad music. I also GM tabletop games.
My favorite foods are tonkatsu and banana smoothies. Tonkatsu banana smoothies are off the table.
